Identity & Security Software Engineer


Identity Alliance has an exciting position for information security minded software engineers who wish to develop using the latest biometric, smart card and associated cryptographic devices and solutions.
We are looking for strong software developers with advanced knowledge in multiple operating systems, hardware platforms, development tools, and environments.

Identity Alliance performs custom information security software development and integration, as well as product development that utilizes secure, multi-factor authentication techniques. This position is a great fit for someone who wishes to work in a small group of entrepreneurs and highly skilled developers and grow quickly with the company.  

Identity Alliance is located in the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Over 20 high tech companies reside in this beautiful, brand new high tech facility modeled after tier one technology centers world-wide. Fort Wayne has the amenities of a large city with one of the lowest costs of living in the United States.

Our engineers are expected to continually learn new technologies and techniques and stay abreast of the latest developments in the identity management field.  Candidates will be evaluated based on their communication skills, drive to succeed and technical experience. Desired technical experience includes:

Programming Languages: C, C++, Java, .NET, QT, Lua
Operating Systems: Windows (2000, XP, 2003), Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X
Cryptography Experience: RSA, SHA, MD5, 3DES, AES
Security Architectures: Kerberos, PAM, SAML, LDAP, PKI
Web Environments: PHP, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL

B.S. or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree is required

Candidates should be able to work independently as well as with other employees and contractors.
They should be great problem solvers, goal oriented, and able to relay solutions both verbally as well as through writing.
